In its inaugural annual event held on 22nd May 2010, the goal of the Miss African Spirit Pageant was to instil a sense of pride and confidence in young women of African heritage by promoting the culture and identity within the wider community, and providing a positive image with which to identify. Having done this event, and planning towards its 3rd, the aim remains the same – and is being reached by consistently producing a top quality professional event for all interested parties.

The Miss African Spirit pageant is an independent, non-political platform for young African women to attain personal growth and development, and will contribute towards the building of a strong foundation as leaders of the future.
The Miss African Spirit pageant strives to become the largest, most influential platform from which various charity initiatives that will benefit the Diaspora community and initiatives within Africa, are grown. With this begins the next generation of leaders within the African Diaspora, ones that will strengthen and renew the foundations.
Together we will take forward a positive view of Africa.
