First of all I would like to thank Michelle for introducing me to a different world where beauty is not about weight, skin color, eye color, hair color but its about how we feel its about loving ourselves for who we truly are and this women Michelle has taught me a few things…
Taking part in Miss African Spirit has given me more confidence to audition for other pageants, it has also given me a title 1st Princess that I can use to burst off my career a bit more.
This pageant is not just looking for a WINNER of African Country its looking for a team of girls that can work together that can help each other out. At the end of the day people will realise that Miss African Spirit involves sisterhood, and long lasting friendship its all about AFRICA UNITED.
I have made a lot of friends that I am going to stay in contact with. Life is full of opportunities all you need to do is grab them with both hands and not let it go… I feel like we are all winners at the end of the say for getting as far as we did …

I would definitely recommend Miss African Spirit to anyone interested. I feel I have grown as a person from taking part because not only do you learn the essentials of walking down the catwalk, but you also make new friends and you really start appreciating being part of the African family.
I have started seeing things differently because everyone had a different story but the bottom line of them all was perseverance gets you ahead in life and I think that is one of the basic lessons we are taught as African ambassadors to the Western world. Miss African Spirit definitely re-kindled the pride of Africa in me and I am really thankful for that. I hope some day in the future I am fortunate enough to meet such extraordinary people who possess both inner and outer beauty like the ladies I met in June.
