Eligibility

In order to enter, contestants must have proven African heritage – that is, either they were born in Africa, or their parents or grandparents were born in Africa and they are able to provide the documentation to prove this.

We’re trying to reflect the diversity that is Africa and are inviting applications from all ladies regardless of their colour, religion, shape, size or height. The main focus is the “African Spirit”.

Finalists are asked to choose three prevailing issues that affect Africa or the African community in the diaspora. They will need to be knowledgeable about all of these issues, and choose one which will form the basis of their charitable focus should they win the pageant.
